Castilla-La Mancha is a territory of contrasts. Our natural and historical diversity is perfectly exemplified in the variety of grapes, which is the main characteristic of the wine, to which it confers its character.
Currently 46 varieties of grapes are cultivated in Castilla-La Mancha, 23 red wine grapes and 23 white wine grapes, with implantation varying between the different wine growing areas of the region.
